After being the runners-up of Pond's Femina Miss India Indore in 2013, Disha Patani made her film debut in 2015, when she starred in the Telugu action drama movie Loafer.
In 2017, she made her Bollywood debut, appearing in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, which was her breakthrough role as her performance was critically and commercially acclaimed. She won the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female and the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female for her role in the movie. She also starred in the Chinese action adventure comedy movie Kung Fu Yoga alongside Jackie Chan in 2017.
Baaghi 2, Bharat and Ek Villain Returns are the other prominent movies that Patani has appeared in. She will be next seen in the Karan Johar directorial, Yodha, alongside Siddharth Malhotra.
