Tanjiro and his team face the after-effects of killing Daki and Gyutaro. Their backstory is also revealed in order to take the series forward.

Review:

The Entertainment District Arc has come to an end. While the finale is befitting emotionally, the action that completes the Demon Slayer franchise is missing in the episode, and thus, it is not the best finale of the series so far. If given a choice, we would rather consider Episode 10 as the grand finale.

The 11th episode begins with a huge promise as Nezuko wakes up from her sleep. She plays a major role in this episode.

Zenitsu's mad self is back. After his bravery, his character's going back to what is considered normal for him is a much-welcomed change.

Inosuke is equally a delight to watch. Meanwhile, Tengen Uzui's wives take up screen space for no good reason. Makio and Hima, in particular, are a headache to deal with.

Gyutaro's back story is explored in the season. You get to see how and why he became a demon in the first place.

The episode tries to make you empathize with the demon, and you even do so to an extent. You also get to know just how close Daki and Gyutaro have been throughout life and even after it. (PS: Daki isn't even her real name, and the story behind her real name is revealed through Gyutaro's back story).

Upper Rank Six Doma is introduced to the series. He was eventually overtaken by Daki and Gyutaro, who shared the rank.

The episode gives the perfect tribute to Daki and Gyutaro. It is why Tanjiro is such a beloved personality.

Obanai Iguro makes an entry, hinting that his role will be next after Tengen Uzui's retirement. As always, he leaves a scary impression, but there is a moment you probably didn't expect from him.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki leaves a huge hint about Muzan, which is sure to raise eyebrows. This new information is sure to make you impatient to find out more about the lead antagonist of the series.

Akaza, who killed Kyojuro, is back, and this time, he is in the Infinity castle. Unfortunately, though, the viewers just get a brief glimpse of him and the castle.

The last scene of the series is not grand but perfectly matches Tanjiro's personality. It is something that can be forgiven after the team has achieved a huge feat.

Verdict:

Entertainment District Arc's final episode is an emotional journey. While the show is known for its awesome VFX, do not expect much of it in this episode because, here, it is all about paying tributes and celebrating victories, Tanjiro style. While not the best episode or finale, this episode isn't completely disappointing either.
