Even though Dhappa has a few moments, still staying away from this one is a better option.

Story:
Dhappa is six stories about love, mistakes and reconcilation. Each one has a different way but ends up being regressive in one way or another, at least most of the episodes.
Review:
Dhappa sees Jay Bhanushali in a new, sensuous role. The bed creeks and he wakes up from a red light. Soon, there is a heated argument which appears unreal.
The series has a lot of edits that make this one unbearably frustrating. The dialogues are cut from the middle of a conversation and you simply cannot figure what is happening because of that. It isn't that there was something interesting happening anyway but editing a dialogue from between is very unprofessional.
While you cannot understand the flow of the story fully anyway, the jokes also get lost in transition. After a point, this series takes a turn from funny to dramatic with an orthodox family at the middle of it.
Smriti Khanna Gupta is cute but that is all there is to her. She has a limited role in the series which is anyway too regressive.
The second episode of the series is as weird as the first one. Krissann Barretto's character starts stripping in the car and it is pretty weird to see someone do that on Indian roads.
Samridh Bawa as Jagu has a quirky appearance on the show. However, he blends into the bizarreness of the series soon.
The second episode has a hilarious end after all the weirdness fades away. Even if the execution isn't up to the mark, the fun aspect is clear.
Vishal Singh appears in the third episode of the show. He tries to explore his charming side but the episode, like most others, is sexist. Thus, the appeal just isn't there even with this episode.
This episode is a twist which is too adorable to watch. However, given how the flow of the show is, this one isn't up to the mark either.
The fourth episode features Abigail Pande in a weird role. Sanam Johar, on the other hand, tries to be the perfect boyfriend and as adorable as that is, it is unrealistic. As expected, this episode is also regressive and by now, a pain to watch in the 21st century. Nonetheless, Abigail and Sanam's pairing and love story is cute.
Monalisa's episode is the last in Dhappa. As always, hers is a sensual role. This series has music that does the work more than the actors.
Mohit Duseja's role improves as the episode progresses. While he shows signs of a person nobody would like, this one steps up which is impressive to watch.
Dishank Arora is in an unusual role. While it takes time to accept him, he turns adorable soon enough.
Verdict:
Dhappa is barely worth your time. Given that a few episodes have some moments but the overall package of the show is very regressive. It is likely to not appeal to the 21st century viewers. So, it is better to stay away from this one.
