Eko Story - An elderly woman and her caretaker confront the shadows of the past in the misty hills of Kaattukunnu while her husband, the infamous dog breeder and fugitive, Kuriyachan, is being hunted. Mlaathi Chedathi and Peeyoos uncover unbelievable truths as strangers searching for him arrive on the mountains.
Eko Review - Given the praise they received for Kishkindha Kaandam, the names, Dinjith Ayyathan and Bahul Ramesh, undoubtedly spark excitement among cinephiles. Those who are going to the cinemas with these expectations won't be let down mainly due to the larger-than-life moments Eko delivers in terms of its plot and production style. The duo has done everything possible to keep the audience captivated till the very end.
Mlaathi Chedathi and her helper Peeyoos live in a remote cottage surrounded by a pack of dogs and a thick forest in the foggy hills of Kaattukunnu. Her husband, Kuriyachan, a notorious dog breeder and lawbreaker, soon causes them to be plagued by their past. The main focus of the film is how they learn about Kuriyachan's reality, which ultimately results in a confrontation with some harsh truths.
Eko is an ideal example of how a straightforward subject may be presented in the most visually appealing manner possible, leaving viewers with a gratifying theatrical experience. Dinjith and Bahul exposes the various aspects of human emotions through a very few characters, much like in their previous movie, Kishkindha Kaandam. They give a daunting perspective of the disparity between protection and restriction through a simple storyline that leaves you contemplating for a while. With each passing minute, the spectators' curiosity about Kuriyachan and the others becomes more intense.

Writer Bahul's additional role as the film's cinematographer also proves beneficial for the film, as it features some beautiful visuals that linger in your mind long after you leave the theatre. Bahul does a great job exploring the human-dog bond once more. Dinjith should also be commended for demonstrating once more that a filmmaker does not always need to elaborate or answer every question in the story. Because sometimes it's better to have less than more.
It may be difficult to pick out a one standout feature of the movie, but each performer in it merits praise for consistently upholding their characters' traits. Biana Momin as Mlaathi Chedathi and Sandeep as Peeyoos are flawless. Vineeth, Narain, Ashokan, and Sim Zhi Fei are among the other actors who delivered outstanding performances. The music by Mujeeb Majeed is excellent; it adds a compelling atmosphere to the plot's progression. It is tricky to identify a flaw in Eko because the creators have worked hard to keep the audience captivated by its plot and stunning shots.
Eko Verdict - Dinjith Ayyathan and Bahul Ramesh's most recent film is flawless in every way, making it a satisfying theatre experience. Some of the shots are guaranteed to stay in your mind simply due to its brilliance.
