Story:
Deep and Sukh fall in love and get married. She comes into his family who don’t even know what Honeymoon means. Thus, when the couple decides to go on their honeymoon, the whole family tags along. Will Deep and Sukh ever find time to themselves?
Review:
Honeymoon commences in the most hilarious manner. The family of Zakhmi Singh is hilarious beyond any point. That is how Gippy Grewal enters as Deep – as an ancestor of the epic fam.
Soon after, Jasmin Bhasin also makes an entry as Sukh. Both the actors have a typical hero-heroine entry. The romance starts instantly. That too is in a cute and hilarious manner.
The movie keeps getting hilarious. The scenes and punchlines make Honeymoon a great watch.
However, Deep's obsession with first night is too creepy. His curiousness to celebrate the ‘honeymoon’ is a turn-off in the film.
The characters' personalities or at least the most of it is heartwarming. This especially holds true for Gippy’s Deep and Jasmin’s Sukh.
The fun just doesn't end as the whole family sets off for the honeymoon. They even flaunt the fact that 13-14 people are out for their 'honeymoon.'
The songs in this movie serve nothing more than a commercial purpose. Beautiful locations and romance is a sure-shot way of being appealing. However, it doesn't add much to the story.
This family drama is also all bits emotional and sweet. It has a great message attached to it as well, which makes Honeymoon a good watch.
Verdict:
Honeymoon is a good family entertainer. Although it isn’t the best movie out there, for the most bits, this one is thoroughly enjoyable with a great message. Go for it.
