Kerala Crime Files 2 review: Ahammed Khabeer delivers a sequel that is a fitting testament to its genre

Kerala Crime Files 2 Story - A police unit under the command of rookie SI Noble investigates the disappearance of CPO Ambili Raju, a police officer linked to multiple crimes. As the investigation progresses, more evidence that connects him to several crimes complicates the case.

Kerala Crime Files 2 Review - The second season of Ahammed Khabeer's Kerala Crime Files, Malayalam's first web series, benefits from all facets of filmmaking, including the screenplay, music, performances and editing. Like its forerunner, the online series does not give up on keeping viewers engaged until the very end. Even though some of the old characters make a reappreance, it is fascinating that the sequel has no connection with the previous season.

For his first Law & Order assignment, SI Noble is stationed in a rural area of Thiruvananthapuram. He investigates the sudden disappearance of CPO Ambili Raju, a police officer who receives transfer due to his complicated connections in different levels. However, when he delves further into Ambili Raju's and his clan's lives, new details surface that adds complexity to the case and connects them to a number of other crimes. The main focus of the web series is what happened to Ambili Raju and how Noble and his team solve this crime.

The screenplay of Kerala Crime Files' second season is particularly noteworthy since it has the unmatched capacity to hold viewers' attention through to the very finish. The sequel centres on a number of people and subplots with the uncertainty of what happened to them and how they are related to many other illegal actions, in contrast to the prequel, which follows a murder investigation in a straightforward manner.

In particular, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, Sirajudheen Nazar, and Arjun Radhakrishnan, all give outstanding performances in Kerala Crime Files 2. Convincing acts are also given by the old cast, which includes Lal, Aju Varghese, Navas Vallikkunnu, and Sanju Sanichen. The remaining characters also contribute to the story's compelling progression. Kerala Crime Files 2 Verdict - Although it has a few small flaws, overall it does justice to its genre and sets a new standard for Malayalam thriller web series.
