Story:

Young Jedi masters Lys, Nubs and Kai Brightstar go on various adventures, as their job requires. They get trained by Master Zia and Master Yoda through it all.

Review:

Young Jedi Adventures is finally here and there's a surprise for all Star Wars fans. Master Yoda is a part of the series. He is the best thing to happen to Star Wars and no series can fail him.

Master Zia is the first one to catch your eye after him. She does not leave an impression, especially because of her brief roles.

Dee, the droid of the temple, has little to perform. He has only two frames.

Lys, Nubs and Kai Brightstar have a good introduction. They are the strong trio you'll fall in love with.

While Nubs is the cutest, Lys and Kai help each other grow in many ways. That is what makes their bond special.

Tabbor is a pirate in the series. He is the antagonist who has nothing to do with Sith.

Captain Nash and her droid RJ-83 are introduced to the series. While she leaves a good impression, her droid is just there.

A new droid, OG-LC, is introduced to the series with the Starseeker. He is the one to instantly win you over.

The adventures are what make this series a good watch. This is after seeing the bond between the trio.

JG-1 is introduced to the series. This droid is special but not a surprise at all.

The camera angles in the series work when it comes to showing Kai as a hero. He gets the spotlight almost always and stays on screen from the first scene to last.

The series has a light mood to it. There's always something to cheer you up when it comes to this show.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures does get weird with a dragon-chicken mix. The episode - fifth one - does not work well for the same reason.

The last episode of the series comes a full circle. Ace is introduced to the series for a purpose. It helps the show and the message Star Wars wanted to convey is clear through this episode.

Verdict:

Young Jedi Adventures has some things for you in store. The series promises great things with Master Yoda at the centre. Thankfully, he as a character isn’t ruined. Everything else though, is just mediocre. Watch this one only if you are a die-hard Star Wars fan and can tolerate alterations in that universe.
