Siddharth Jadhav has a better role, even if he is not one of the main leads.

Story:
Ashwin (Sachit Patil) is the top news anchor who has many opportunities. Shefali (Sonalee Kulkarni) is smitten by him but after clashing, they want to prove who is a better news anchor.
Review:
As soon as Tamasha Live begins, it captures your interest because of the raw art - theatre. The film actually moves through two forms of storytelling - through drama in the form of a play as well as creating a real-life scenario.
Siddharth Jadhav simply adds to the story. He adds emotion to his character, even if there is too much repetition. Hemangi Kavi compliments his performance but the two are on the same wavelength.
Soon, you come across a story which makes you wonder what really transpired for the particular situation to arise. Although capturing your interest in the beginning, Tamasha Live simply replays what happened in real world of journalism back in 2020.
Sachit Patil is rather glamourized for a news reporter. He will soon remind you of a renowned news anchor in real life. Unfortunately though, the role sees him be less of a reporter and more of a person who has made a judgement and stood by it.
You cannot look away from the film because you will miss some important moments if that happens. The story also shows the truth - about how a person is at the top only till somebody else takes over.
Sonalee Kulkarni makes an entry much later in the film and it is not the most memorable. Soon after her entry, the story becomes predictable.
Pushkar Jog has a smaller appearance but he is among the most memorable characters in te movie. The same can be said about Mrunal Deshpande.
The film also brings forth an incident from real life. It recalls an incident that happened in Bollywood not too long ago. Many incidents, in fact, are inspired from real-life, especially one that took place in B-Town.
The movie, thus, has nothing new to offer and it simply mocks journalism of today's times. While the concept is unique, it becomes too dramatic to handle.
Verdict:
Tamasha Live starts off as interesting but soon gets carried away by the drama the world witnessed back in 2020. While the concept of adding play as well as telling a tale in the movie format is interesting, this one was executed poorly. So, unless you were abducted in 2020 and missed out on the events of the year, go ahead and skip this one.
