With the Inners heading towards Ceres station, Inaros abandons it, but not before stripping it down with only bare essentials left for those left behind. En route, his ship, The Pella, spots The Roci…

Story: Marco Inaros is on the run again, and even though he can’t hurl rocks at earth anymore, he has set some other sinister plan in motion. What’s in store for the Inners and The Roci, in particular?
Review: Sigh, we are already mid-way into the final season of The Expanse. It’s a travesty that we will not get to see more of the Rings, Laconia, etc.,because going by the events of today’s episodes, it appears that an explosive finale is around the corner in the next three episodes.
Shortly after declaring Ceres Station as the Free Navy/Belts new capital, Marco Inaros abandons it, when he realizes that the combined fleet of Earth and Mars is en route to bring the action to his doorstep. Before taking off, though, they all but strip Ceres bare, leaving those who were left behind with air and supplies that will sustain them only for a couple of weeks. While his actions get him coverage as a coward in the press, Marco thinks it was a brilliant ploy to slow down the Inners.
As Marco on the Pella and two other ships Lauber and Granicus head out, they spot The Roci heading to Ceres – this is an opportunity to engage that Marco does not want to miss, even though it does not seem to be the wisest move. They are three against one, after all. So, they head full throttle into war with the Roci. Guess Marco did not get the memo that Bobbie is on board with Holden and crew and it doesn’t take her long to figure out their evasion technique each time she fires. She finally gets one past them and shuts down their reactor briefly, all set to take them out, but Holden wants to take Inaros alive, than allow him become a ‘martyr’. Of course, Inaros would rather die than be on “Holden’s leash”.
Side notes of the episode: Drummer and Walker are still trying to figure out Marco’s supply depots, while also gathering support from other former Golden Bough members to take the fight to him. It’s a shame we don’t get to see more of Drummer.
Holden appears to fully trust Peaches now; even giving her control of the Roci, while he takes a power nap. They have a heart-to-heart conversation when she tells him that the mods that she’s now trying to flush out of her system were a result of her desire to kill him.
A series of small explosions rock Ceres Station, while Monica is there on a reporting stint. What gives?
We finally get an answer to what makes Laconia special. Remember the little girl, who was trying to help a mama bird and her little ones, and the strange creature that was watching her at it. Well, it appears that this creature has powers that could come in handy.
Verdict: It was exciting to see Holden and Inaros face off, even though the action was brief. Inaros seems to have an ace up his sleeve and this attempt to get rid of Holden once and for all was only the tip of the iceberg.
