Vrusshabha Review - In a time when directors are crafting exceptional fantasy thrillers on a tight budget without sacrificing quality, Nanda Kishore's most recent film fails in every way. It undoubtedly struggles to give the genre it deals with its due, disappointing viewers who may have anticipated a slightly higher standard of presentation.

As it may have been speculated, the story revolves around the unbreakable tie between a father and son who must overcome an unforeseen challenge from their previous lives. Raja Vijayendra Vrusshabha and his loved ones are plagued by the curse that was placed upon him after he unintentionally shot an arrow at an innocent child. However, his karmic consequences follow him even in his rebirth as the successful businessman, Aadi Deva Varma, shattering his strong relationship with his son. His focus is now to protect his son by learning more about their past.

The creators have made an effort to depict two worlds and timeframes, ranging from the dynamism of the present era to the grandeur of an ancient fictional kingdom. However, given the many flaws ranging from technical issues to performances, it is unlikely that they were able to present it in a convincing or entertaining way.

Vrusshabha fails to hold viewers' attention in any way with its AI-generated clips and shoddy editing works, particularly at a time when there are plenty of fantasy films that garnered praise from cinephiles this year. It is clear that the makers were unable to execute the subject into a solid package, even if it could have been worked out properly in terms of details.

Even with Mohanlal in the lead role, the movie's performances are not particularly impressive. With the exception of Samarjit Lankesh and the Malayalam superstar, the majority of the characters have very nothing to add to the plot. Meanwhile, Ragini Dwivedi executes her role admirably though with less screen space. Sam C S's music is the only good component of the film.
