Betaal

Betaal is a dark horror web series directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan which was released on Netflix on 24 May 2020. Betaal is like an old wives tale from a remote village or is it? The villagers talk about the curse of Betaal and Betaal as an all powerful evil demonic entity. The movie revolves around the battle of CIPD forces against the East India Company’s Army officer Lt. Col John Lynedoch and his battalion of zombie soldiers from the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The key element of this whole battle is to get a young girl named Saanvi Mudhalvan (Syna Anand) who is the daughter of Ajay Mudhalvan (Jitendra Joshi) who is trying to dig open the caves again. Saanvi is the key to fulfill the curse of Betaal. Will CIPD officer Vikram Sirohi (Viineet Kumar) be able to save the little girl? Or will she die to fulfil the curse and let Betaal and Lt. Col John Lynedoch free? The show consists of four episodes.
