Hey Dad..! emerged in 1987 and gave eight seasons comprising 291 episodes and other two which never got aired. This American sitcom is created by Gary Reilly and John Flanagan and aired with its original network Seven Network. The series stars Robert Hughes as Martin Kelly and Julie McGregor as Betty Wilson in the lead. The story explores the life of Martin, who owns an architectural business and single-handedly takes care of his three children, Simon, Debbie, and Jenny. The season finale ends with an explosion but with a funny dialogue "That doesn't happen in sitcoms." However, there were allegations regarding sexual abuse on the show. It came to attention that Sarah Monahan named the lead actor, Robert Hughes, for molesting her on different occasions during the production period.
