Marvel's The Defenders

Marvel’s The Defenders is a crossover mini-series which brings together four of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe - Matt Murdock a.k.a Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand a.k.a The Iron Fist. The four heroes come together to uncover a conspiracy that puts New York City in danger and to defeat the sinister supervillain organization known as The Hand. Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colton and Finn Jones reprise their roles from their respective stand-alone series with other returning cast members including Eka Darville, Elden Henson, Simone Missick, Ramon Rodriguez, Rachael Taylor, Deborah Ann Woll, Elodie Young, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn. The show also brings in Golden Globe Award-winning Actor Sigourney Weaver, who is known for her work in the Sci-Fi classic Aliens, in a prominent role. Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez created this mini-series and garnered positive reviews from critics, getting a Primetime Emmy nomination as well.
