The Wonder Years

Created by Saladin K. Patterson, The Wonder Years Season 2 is a slice of life sitcom about a Black middle-class family, The Williams, set in 1960 Montogmery. This coming of age drama is narrated through the perspective of 12 year old Dean (played by Elisha “EJ” Williams) navigating his life as a teenager. The new season opens with new challenges as Bill has to walk the thin line between being a dad and a professor as Kim starts to take classes at Bill’s college. The season also brings in different hurdles for Dean as he finds himself in a pickle as him and his friends join the football team. The show’s cast includes Dulé Hill (Bill Williams), Saycon Sengbloh (Lillian Williams), Laura Kariuki (Kim Williams), and Julian Lerner (Brad Hitman) to name a few.
