The first Brazilian multi-camera series from Netflix recalls the vibe and aesthetic of several Mexican sitcoms. It revolves around Isadir, who comes to stay with her son, Carlos and his family, right when the pandemic is in its early days. The quarantining of the mother with her son's family and wife, Alice, yields fretful fights, exasperation aplenty as she hurls her particular demands and wishes. Its humour is mostly broad and goofy, a throwback to the 1980s. Rodrigo Sant'anna stars as the central mother.
