Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon

 The series revolves around its eponmous surgeon, who used to work in university hospitals in Japan before becoming a consultant for reviewing surgery staff. She treats only critical patients and often has run-ins with other doctors owing to her unorthodox demeanor. She battles each conflicts with the active support and encouragment of her manager, Akira Kanbara and anesthologist, Hiromi Jonouchi. The new ten episode season deals with the pressures of the pandemic on Totei University. Ryoko Yonekura stars as Doctor X, Yuki Uchida plays Hiromi Jonouchi and Ittoku Kishibe essays the part of Kanbara. Various writers have penned the series, including Mihiko Nakazomo and Aya Takei. Naomi Tamura and Hayato Yamada share directing duties. Works Co. Ltd has backed the series.
