Generation Kill

Generation Kill, based on the 2004 book by Evan Wright, depicts his experience during the 2003 invasion of Iraq as a reporter and nurtured in seven golden episodes. This mini-series comprises seven episodes, exploring an embedded reporter with the US Marine Corps' first Reconnaissance Battalion. From directors Susanne White and Simon Cellan Jones, the series stars Alexander Skarsgard and James Ransone as Sgt. Colbert and Josh Ray Person, respectively. While this American television mini-series received a lot of accolades, it was also phrased as "dull and throbbing" and "journalism converted to art" at the same time. However, this series, with a vivid representation of life, avoiding the cliches, received positive reviews despite some criticism. As per certain reports, the real Sgt. Mjr. John Sixta, who was played by Neil Jones in the movie, has been charged with molestation in Yuma and Riverside.
