Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy

The three-part documentary series depicts the controversial rapper in his career trajectory, going from being a producer to a rapper. The documentary depicts his journey and how success remained elusive and how the first album, The College Dropout, was created out of hotel rooms. Directors Coodie and Chike have made the series, culling from twenty years worth of footage, presenting a portrait of persistence, right from his early years when he was trying to break out as an emcee. The series also looks at the relationship between Coodie and West and how it panned over the years. The series delves into Kanye's relationship with his mother, his numerous controversies, his approach to his appearance and troubled mental health. There is a full arc spanning Kanye's many quirks, spirals and meteoric rise over the decades.
