Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal

Created by Thai Selvam and Praveen Bennett, the Tamil coming-of-age teen drama that translates to 'Periods of Dreaming' surrounds the lives of 12 students who are separated between two rival groups. The plot of the series follows the everyday occurrences in their lives and the rivalry that gives way to healthy competition, jealousy, fights, and the urge to be better than the other. However, amidst all the chaos, somewhere, friendship finds a place. Consisting of six seasons, the series was the first soap opera centred around school life. Following the success of the series, two more sequels namely Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kallooriyin Kadhai and Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Saalai were released. 

The long-running series feature Hemalatha, Yuthan Balaji, Irfan, S. Sheva, Sriram, Vignesh Kumar, Priya Atlee, Karthik Raj, Prem Kumar, Kavin, Sai Pramodita, Vishnu, Raju Jeyamohan, Teja Venkatesh, Aravind Seiju, Raja Vetri Prabhu, Deepika Venkatachalam, and VJ Sangeeta.
