Kerala Crime Files

 Directed by Ahammed Khabeer (who also directed June and Madhuram) Kerala Crime Files is a Malayalam crime thriller series that follows a Sub-inspector Manoj and his team on a race to solve the murder of a prostitute at a lodge called Grand Tourist Home with little to no leads to their aid. Written by Ashiq Aimar, the series is said to have six episodes and is to be released on 23 June 2023 on Disney Plus Hotstar. The mostly plot-driven drama showcases the grey shade of everyone rather than showing everyone in a pure white light. The show's cast includes Aju Varghese (who also starred in Ohm Shanti Oshaana, Adi Kapyare Kootamani, etc.) playing Manoj and Lal (who also starred in Salt and Pepper, 2018, Helen, etc.) playing Kurian.
