Created by Subhash Kapoor and directed by Karan Sharma, the political drama follows the life of a caring and docile housewife whose life revolves around her husband and her house. When her husband's political tenure reaches closure, she is ready to pack bags and leave for their village to live a silent home life. However, while choosing a successor for his party, her husband selects her for the position of CM, turning her simple life around. But, in a male-centric political scenario, can she have power and a voice of her own? 

Written by Subhash Kapoor and Nandan Singh, the series is loosely based on the political events of 1990s Bihar. It stars Huma Qureshi, Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti, and Inaamulhaq in lead roles.
