Marvel's Jessica Jones

Krysten Ritter, who is known for her role as Jane in the popular series Breaking Bad, plays Jessica Jones, an ex-superhero who now works as a private investigator with her own detective agency, Alias Investigation, in Marvel’s neo-noir superhero-detective series, Jessica Jones. Created by Melissa Rosenberg, the show is based on the titular Marvel character as she deals with cases involving people with special abilities in New York City. At the same time, she battles her own personal demons and PTSD from her short and tragic stint as a superhero. The show also features a cast of actors such as Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, Wil Traval, Erin Moriarty, Eka Darville, Carrie-Anne Moss, and David Tennant, who is known for his role as the 10th incarnation of The Doctor in the sci-fi series Doctor Who. Placed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the show was met with positive reviews and was also awarded a Primetime Emmy.
