Qubool Hai

The Aha original series portrays real-life events surrounding child brides and child trafficking. The storyline shows a poor father selling his daughter to a rich Arab in the hoax of a marriage. The show is set in Talabkatta, an old city in Hyderabad. Continuing the crux of shady events it also shows police officers trying to get to the bottom of the whole operation. The series is directed by Pranav Pingle Reddy who is known for his works in various documentaries on refugee crisis and empowerment. His series 'Occupied' was selected for the Athens International Film and Video Festival.
