Slow Horses

The British spy thriller television series is based on a novel of the same name by Mick Herron, a British mystery and thriller novelist. The show follows an MI5 agent, River Cartwright and his public fiasco in an embarrassing training mission. He is then exiled to Slough House, a purgatory for service rejects where he has to survive the immense paper-pushing tasks and endure a miserable boss. The plot turns when this band of rejects gets entangled in a dangerous gambit by Regent's Park. Directed by James Hawes and written by Will Smith, the cast includes Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden and Kristin Scott Thomas. The series is premiering on Apple TV+.
