Suspicion

The lives of four British citizens get intertwined when they unwittingly become the prime suspects in a kidnapping case. The victim is the son of a business tycoon Katherine Newman, played by Uma Thurman. The son is kidnapped from a New York hotel by abductors wearing masks of British royal family members, the video of which goes viral on social media. Newman, desperate to free her son, finds herself in a real quandary when she has to trade closely guarded secrets in exchange for her son’s life. Other than Thurman, the series also stars The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar, The American’s Noah Emmerich, Georgina Campbell of Black Mirror fame and Agents of SHIELD actor Elizabeth Henstridge. It is based on False Flag, an award-winning Israeli series that had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. The English-language version is directed by Chris Long, and Rob Williams serves as the showrunner.
