The Days

 The Days is a Japanese historical-thriller series directed by Hideo Nakata and Masaki Nishiura. A severe earthquake topples the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. As all peripheral connectivity is lost, men must go in and manually auto-correct the meters to save the civilians from yet another nuclear disaster. The series stars Kôji Yakusho, Kaoru Kobayashi, Oji Suzuka, Yuriko Ishida, Ken'ichi Endô, Yutaka Takenouchi, Denden, Yasushi Fuchikami, Ken Mitsuishi, Mitsuru Fukikoshi, Fumiyo Kohinata, Naomasa Musaka, Tomomi Maruyama, Shigemitsu Ogi, Yoshi Sakô, Kazuya Takahashi, Yuki Izumisawa and Takuma Otoo in prominent roles.
