Thermae Romae Novae

Thermae Romae Novae is a time-travelling, comedy, animated Netflix series that centres around an ancient Roman architect Lucius, who is tasked with the job of creating a unique bathhouse. However, the architect hits a roadblock while thinking of new architectural designs and is unable to think of something new and exciting. A strange occurrence lands him in a modern Japanese bathhouse, which calls in for new and comic experiences. It is set to be an original net animation (ONA) anime series adaptation by NAZ, based on Mari Yamazaki's manga masterpiece. The manga has received many accolades, including the 2010 Manga Taisho (Cartoon Grand Prize) Award and the Short Story Prize at the 14th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. The Netflix series has been composed by the Manga creator Mari Yamazaki herself.
