Under the Banner of Heaven

The true-crime min series is based on a book of the same name by Jon Krakauer. The plot follows a fundamentalist Mormon police detective whose faith is shaken when he finds out that the murder of a woman seems to involve the Church. The mystery unravels the connection to an esteemed Utah family's spiral into LDS fundamentalism and their distrust in the government. The series cast includes Andrew Garfield, Rohan Mead, Beau McHattie, Scott Michael Campbell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Christopher Heyerdahl and others. Directed by David Mackenzie and Isabel Sandoval, the series is written by Dustin Lance Black.
