The Netflix fantasy drama is based on a comic book series of the same name by Ben Dunn and portrays an orphaned teen waking up in a morgue with superpowers and a fate of being the Halo-bearer for the secret sect of demon-hunting nuns. The second season focuses on the new villain Adriel after the climatic end of the first season.
