The Indian Premier League (IPL) has become a successful franchise cricket league in the world. Since it's inception in 2008, there have been teams like the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI), who have played in all the seasons. If we look at the trophies, as of now, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and MI are at the top with five titles under their name. Moreover, RCB won their maiden title this season, after a long wait of 17 years. However, in this article, we'll discuss the teams that are the richest in the IPL in terms of their net worths as of 2025.

Owned by Indian businessman Sanjeev Goenka, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made their entry in the IPL in 2022. In the first two years, their performance had been brilliant. They qualified for the playoffs twice but failed to reach the finals.
As of 2025, they have a brand valuation of $122 million. Despite being a new company, the turnover has been quite impressive. Over the years, if they manage to increase their fanbase with their game, there are chances that the valuation might increase.

Despite being in the IPL since the start, the Punjab Kings have been quite unlucky with winning the title. The franchise has a brand valuation of $141 million. Under captain Shreyas Iyer, the team qualified for the IPL finals but lost to RCB in 2025. It was a heartbreaking moment for the fans since both teams deserved the win. However, if we look at the team, it's one of the best in the tournament and will surely carry forward the confidence into the next season as well.

Another new team in the IPL, the Gujarat Titans (GT) etched their names in the history books by winning the trophy in the first year under the leadership of Hardik Pandya. Not only that. They did qualify for the finals once again in the following year but couldnt win against the CSK. GT have been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament and hence, they have a huge fan base. Hence, their brand valuation of $142 million.

The Rajasthan Royals won the IPL in the very first year back in 2008. Since then, they have struggled to even qualify for the finals in almost all the seasons. Their performance has differed from season to season but they do have a loyal fanbase even after just winning the trophy 18 years back. RR also have a good squad but the players fail to look into their potential during the tournament. Moreover, the franchise's brand valuation is $146 million. It's quite disappointing that despite playing from the start, their brand valuation is lesser than the other teams.
Another team which is there from the start of the IPL is Delhi Capitals. They entered the tournament with their former name Delhi Daredevils which got changed a few years back. DC is currently owned by the GMR Group and JSW Sports and has a brand valuation of $152 million. They are one of the teams that haven't won the title yet. The trophy drought isn't ending for the team. Moreover, they have qualified for the finals very few times.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are owned by the Sun TV Network. When the IPL started, they played as Deccan Chargers and won the tournament in 2009. Years later, their name changed to SRH. In 2016, they defeated RCB and won the finals on May 29. As of 2025, their brand valuation is $154 million.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are the second most successful team in the IPL with three trophies under their name. They won the tournament first in 2012, then in 2014 and then after a long wait of ten years, they finally won the title in 2024. The fanbase is huge and so is their brand valuation. As of 2025, the valuation is around $222 million. Their success is one of the main reasons behind their strong net worth.

After Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the most successful team in the IPL. They have won five trophies so far in just 16 seasons. CSK are one of the most strongest teams in the tournament as well. Except four seasons, they have qualified for the playoffs in every other season. This speaks volumes about their dedication towards the game and the kind of players they have had in the past. Since they have a massive fanbase, their valuation is $235 million.

Mumbai Indians (MI) are the most successful franchise in the IPL history with five titles. They dominated the tournament for quite a long time under captain Rohit Sharma. However, their performance has been quite poor in the past few years. MI have a solid fan base because of Rohit and Sachin Tendulkar. There have been many brilliant players in the squad including Lasith Malinga, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard and many more. Hence, as of 2025, their brand valuation is $242 million.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are not the most successful team in the IPL but they surely have a loyal fanbase who have supported them throughout the years. This has happened because of Virat Kohli, who has played all the seasons of the IPL. Well, he's the only player to have played for a single franchise all these years. His loyalty finally paid off in 2025 as RCB won their maiden title under Rajat Patidar. Since they have a huge fanbase, their valuation is $269 million.
