Former India captain and star opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed on 14 off 8 balls after hitting three consecutive boundaries against Nandre Burger in the second India vs South Africa ODI in Raipur. Burger produced the edge, and Temba Bavuma went for the DRS after Quinton de Kock compelled him to go upstairs. Rohit was not sure, but the replay showed he had nicked the ball.

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to field first in the second ODI against India at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, extending India's dismal run to 20 consecutive ODI toss losses.
The Proteas, trailing 0-1 after a thrilling 17-run defeat in Ranchi, aim to level the series on a pitch expected to assist bowlers later due to dew and uneven bounce.
India opened with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma under overcast skies, facing a fired-up South African attack led by Nandre Burger. Early proceedings were chaotic for the visitors, who leaked extras including multiple wides, drawing fan frustration online with comments like "raining extras!"
Burger struggled initially, conceding three boundaries in his first over to Rohit; a flicked four off a leg-stump half-volley, a punched four through covers on a fullish length, and a checked punch behind point; racing India to 14 runs off just three legal deliveries.
The drama peaked on the fourth ball of the fifth over. Burger, clocking 138kph, delivered a seam-up length ball angling away from off-stump. Rohit, aiming to defend straight-batted, edged it faintly through to Quinton de Kock.
Umpire's call was not out, but de Kock's appeal convinced Bavuma to review. Snicko showed a murmur confirming the nick, leaving a puzzled Rohit to trudge off for 14 off 8 balls (3x4s, SR 175).
"Rohit looks shocked but has to walk back," noted commentators as a massive crowd roared Virat Kohli to the crease.
