AFC U17 Asian Cup 2023: India clubbed in Group D alongside Japan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam

Team India will be one of the 16 teams competing in the 19th edition of the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2023. For Team India, Korou Singh Thingujam has been named the captain. 

The 16 teams have been placed in four groups of four teams each. Group A features hosts Thailand, Yemen, Malaysia and Laos while Group B includes South Korea, Iran, Afghanistan and Qatar. Tajikistan, Australia, Saudi Arabia and China are placed in Group C. Team India is placed in Group D along with Japan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. 

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2023 knockouts.
