Afganisthan will clash against Hong Kong in the first match of the Asia Cup 2025. The teams have played quality cricket in the past and will showcase their talent in the multinational tournament as well. While Afghanistan just played the tri-series against Pakistan and UAE a few days back, Hong Kong played in the Asia Pacific Cricket Champions Trophy in July.

Hence, both teams got the match practice that's required ahead of such a huge tournament. The players from both teams are in red-hot form, so it will be interesting to see who dominates the tournament once the game starts. Afganisthan has emerged to be one of the best T20I teams in the world, so it will be difficult for Hong Kong to face them in the tournament opener.
