Indian quiz show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) saw a cricket-related question be asked for a jaw-dropping prize of Rs. 12.5 lakh to a contestant. The contestant faced the challenge of identifying the cricketer among four options who did not hold an engineering degree.
The quiz show offered four options for this multiple-choice question: Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, and Rahul Dravid. A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a screenshot of the question that soon grabbed the public's attention.
For those unfamiliar with the answer, it is Rahul Dravid. Currently serving as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, Dravid earned a degree in commerce from St. Joseph's College of Commerce. He was selected for the Indian cricket team while he was pursuing his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Joseph's College of Business Administration.
As for Anil Kumble, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, holds a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rashtriya Vidyalaya College of Engineering. Similarly, Krishnamachari Srikkanth holds a degree in electrical engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, located in Chennai. Additionally, Ravichandran Ashwin holds a BTech degree in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering in Chennai.
Interestingly, all four of these players hail from the southern region of India. Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble are from Karnataka, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Krishnamachari Srikkanth belong to Tamil Nadu.
