The fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy between England and India is underway in Manchester. England won the toss and opted to bowl first. Meanwhile, ahead of the most-anticipated clash, India’s young pacer Anshul Kamboj was handed his debut cap. All eyes will be on the 24-year-old pacer from Haryana, who was added to the squad after a string of injuries crippled India’s pace attack.

Kamboj has replaced Akash Deep, who was ruled out with a groin injury. While there were debates between Kamboj and Prasidh Krishna, Shubman Gill and the management backed the Haryana pacer. On the eve of the match, Gill hinted towards Kamboj’s debut but left the fans wondering about the final XI. It's a big learning curve for the young bowler as he lines up alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

He picked up five wickets in three India A vs England Lions warm-up matches. Despite impressing the selectors with his performance, he was sent back along with the others. Meanwhile, India have made two more changes to their playing XI. While Karun Nair misses out with Sai Sudharsan replacing him, injured Nitish Reddy makes way for Shardul Thakur.

The players have gotten an incredible opportunity as India are trailing 1-2 in the series. This will be a perfect time to prove their worth and cement their place in the team. England have also made one change to their team. Liam Dawson makes a comeback in place of Shoaib Bashir. The left-arm spinner last featured in a Test match for England back in 2017. His recall was due to Bashir's unforced injury.
