Former India legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, is set to tie the knot with his fiancée, Saaniya Chanhok. Several reports have suggested that the wedding is set to take place in the coming March; however, there have been no official announcements made as of now by the Tendulkar family.
It's worth noting that Arjun and Saaniya had already engaged in August last year. However, the engagement was done in a private ceremony where only close family members were allowed to attend. There was no announcement made by the Tendulkar family regarding the engagement.
However, the news was later confirmed by Sachin himself during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. A fan asked Sachin about Arjun’s engagement, to which Sachin confirmed by saying, “Yes, he did, and we are all very excited for the new phase in his life.” According to reports, the wedding ceremonies are set to kick off on March 3, while the actual wedding will take place on March 5.
Fans who are wondering if there will be live coverage of the wedding, just like it happened during the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, then we’ve got bad news for you, as the wedding will be intimate.
Sachin Tendulkar's son and Goa's all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar will play for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the upcoming IPL 2026, starting on March 26. He started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians (MI) but has been traded to LSG for the upcoming seasons. He has played five games in the IPL and scored 13 runs and taken just three wickets.
Despite being a legendary player's son, Arjun didn't get many opportunites in the IPL which is why he has played less games in the tournament. He will hope to get more chances in the upcoming IPL season for LSG.
Cricket fans in India can watch the IPL 2026 matches from March 26 online on JioHotstar, via OTTplay Premium.
