In the match No. 5 of the Asia Cup 2025, Sri Lanka are set to take on Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. This is Sri Lanka's first match in the tournament while Bangladesh have already won their first game. As the toss happened, Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka won and decided to bowl first. It will be interesting to see how the game unfolds.

Charith Asalanka said, "We are going to bowl, looks like a new pitch so we want to bowl. Obviously yes. It's a good memory and we want to keep the momentum up. It's a good challenge as a captain and we got a good bunch of players. 7-4 combo with three all rounders. Hasaranga is playing."

Litton Das said, "Don't mind batting first, looks like a good wicket. We played good cricket in the first game, we have to improve in certain areas. To win a game you got to get everything right. Taskin is not playing and Shoriful is in."
