While the match proved to be one-sided and concluded in the blink of an eye, there was a moment that not only entertained the fans but also had Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill in splits. In the Asia Cup Final held in Colombo, Mohammed Siraj played a pivotal role in India bundling out Sri Lanka for a mere 50 runs, claiming a magnificent six-wicket haul.

In this low-scoring affair, during the over in which Siraj took four wickets, there was a comical moment when he found himself chasing the ball. What added humour to the situation was that he ran all the way to the boundary as the ball crossed for a four.

Despite the long run, Siraj made a quick return for the last ball of the over and managed to claim his fourth wicket. Siraj's amusing sprint had Kohli, Gill, Hardik Pandya, commentators, and fans sharing a hearty laugh.

Regarding the match itself, Bumrah dismissed Kusal Perera for a duck, while the remaining batsmen - Pathum Nissanka (2), Sadeera Samarawickrama (0), Charith Asalanka (0), and Dhananjaya de Silva (4) - all fell victim to Siraj in a single over. Dasun Shanaka (0) and Kusal Mendis (17) were the final casualties of Siraj's exceptional spell.

Hardik Pandya then joined the attack and didn't disappoint, accounting for the dismissals of Dunith Wellalage (8), Pramod Madushan (1), and Matheesha Pathirana (0). Later, Ishan Kishan and Gill efficiently finished off the chase, securing a 10-wicket victory for India.
