India's Asian Games medal count reached 69 with hopes of reaching 100. India is sitting in the fourth position in the medal standings, with 15 gold, 26 silver, and 28 bronze medals. 

Neeraj Chopra will be looking to defend his men's javelin throw title at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China.

In other track and field events, Indian men's and women's 4x400m relay teams will compete for medals while Avinash Sable will be participating in the 5000m race.

Olympic medalist Lovlina Borgohain is set to contend for gold in the women's 75kg boxing final against China's Li Qian, a silver medalist at Tokyo 2020. Parveen Hooda, in the women's 57kg category, will compete in her semi-final match.

The Indian men's hockey team is gearing up for the semi-finals against the Republic of Korea, with a win putting them one step closer to a gold medal and a berth at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
