Asian Games Highlights: India clinch 107 medals in total, #IssBaar100Paar mission accomplished

The Asian Games in Hangzhou saw the Indian contingent win their unprecedented 100th medal at the Asian Games with a victory over Chinese Taipei in the women's kabaddi final.

Prior to that, Ojas Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam claimed a hat-trick of gold medals, while Abhishek Verma bagged silver and Aditi Swami bagged a bronze as Indian archers signed off with a historic haul of nine medals at the tournament.

Chess: Indian men’s team takes silver after Vidit Gujarathi, Arjun Erigasi and Harikrishna P win their respective Round 9 matches against the Philippines.

Chess: Indian women's team of Harika Dronavalli, Koneru Humpy, Vantika Agrawal, R Vaishali and Savitha Sri finish 2nd in round robin with 15/18 points. Indian women win 7 matches, lose 1 against China and draw one.

Wrestling: India's Deepak Punia loses 0-10 to Hassan Yazdanicharati of Iran in the men's freestyle 86kg gold medal bout and settles for silver.

Hockey: India won a bronze medal in the 3rd-4th place game. They defeated Japan 2-1 to clinch the medal.

Kabaddi: The drama came to an end after India was given 4 points, according to the IKF rules and India took a 31-29 lead. They went on to beat Iran 33-29 to clinch gold in the men's Kabaddi event.

Cricket: Rain plays spoilsport and the match has been called off and India wins the gold medal.

Badminton: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty clinch gold in the men's badminton doubles event. This marks India's inaugural gold medal in badminton at the Asian Games.

Badminton: India's Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty win 21-18 in the 1st set vs Korea in the men's Badminton doubles final.

Wrestling: Deepak Punia secures victory against Magomed Sharipov of Bahrain in the men's 86kg freestyle qualification round.

Volleyball: The India Women's Volleyball team secured a victory over Hong Kong in the 9th place match.

Kabaddi: The Indian team had a thrilling 26-25 victory over Chinese Taipei in the women's kabaddi final. This is the women's kabaddi team's third title triumph in the continental showpiece.

Roller Skating: In the women's artistic single free skating long program finals, Samhitha secures the 4th position, while Greeshma finishes 6th.
