The world No. 3 duo defeated Korea's Choi Sol Gyu and Kim Won Ho with a score of 21-18, 21-16 in the final match. Choi Sol Gyu and Kim Won Ho, ranked 15th in the BWF men’s doubles rankings, entered the final after upsetting Chinese Taipei's Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin, the Tokyo 2020 men's doubles champions, in the semi-finals.
