Lakshya Sen gave India an early advantage in the men's team badminton final, engaging in a hard-fought three-game battle against Shi Yuqi. Sen triumphed over his higher-ranked Chinese opponent with a score of 22-20, 14-21, and 21-18 in Match 1.

During the ongoing action between Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty and Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang, the Indian dugout received a boost of support from well-known cricketers such as Washington Sundar, Tilak Verma, and others, who were seen cheering for the Indian contingent.

Accompanying them was Rohan Bopanna, the gold medalist in mixed doubles tennis.
