The Test and ODI series between Australia and West Indies have concluded, and now the two nations will be facing each other in the T20Is. This series will serve as a preparation before the players leave for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and later for the ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2024.
The 1st T20I between Australia and West Indies is scheduled to take place on February 9, 2024, Friday, at 1:30 PM IST at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. The match will be broadcast on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 1 Hindi, while Disney+ Hotstar will stream the game for OTT viewership.

On the ICC T20 Rankings, Australia sits in the fourth position while the Windies occupy the 7th position. The Australian team will led by all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and as for the West Indies, the side will be captained by Rovman Powell.

For the Aussies, the selectors will be closely observing Mitchell Marsh's captaincy skills keeping in mind the T20 World Cup 2024 is around the corner. Glenn Maxwell is also part of the squad.
As for the Windies, the side will see former skipper Jason Holder and hard-hitter Kyle Mayers included in the 15-man squad.
