France Football announced the full list of nominees for all the categories in Ballon d'Or 2025 on 7th August 2025. The award ceremony will take place on 22 September 2025.

Ballon d'Or 2025 performance calendar

For the fourth time in the history of the award, it will be given based on the results of the season instead of the calendar year. For Ballon d'Or 2025, the performance for club and country within 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025 have been considered.
