The Indian men's blind team defeated Bangladesh by 120 runs to win the Blind T20 World Cup 2022, making history by winning it for the third time. India had earlier lifted the title in 2012 and 2017. 

The Indian men were crowned as the T20 World Cup champions after the final at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on December 17.

Talking about the final, India scored 277/2 and then went on to restrict Bangladesh to 157/3. 

India chose to bat first after winning the toss and amassed 277 runs for the loss of two wickets.

A record 247 runs were added to the third wicket partnership between Sunil Ramesh (136 not out off 63) and captain Ajay Kumar Reddy (100 not out off 50). The reigning champions had only 29 on the board when they lost their first two wickets.

Coming in to chase, Bangladesh could manage only 157/3 and lost the contest by 120 runs. India's Lalit Meena and Ajay Kumar grabbed one wicket each.
