During the fourth test of the Anderson-Tendulkar series at Emirates Old Trafford, India's whole bowling lineup struggled to make any impact and take wickets. Jasprit Bumrah, who is considered one of the greatest of this generation, failed as well. Not only that, Bumrah, who generally bowls at a speed of 140kmph, was seen bowling at below 130kmph, which is very unusual and rare.

In fact, Bumrah only bowled one ball over 140kmph in the entire test and bowled only one over with the second new ball before going back to the dressing room to treat something which was bothering him. That is why Kaif feels Bumrah's body has given up, and he would not be surprised if Bumrah takes retirement from the test format.

"I feel there are chances that you might not see Jasprit Burmah play in the few test matches. There is a possibility that he might take retirement from test cricket as well," Kaif said in his video uploaded on X.

"He has not been at his best, and we have not seen the pace from him as well. He is a very honest guy, and if he feels that he has not been able to give 100% while playing for the country, I feel he might take retirement from the format.

"I feel the passion and determination of doing well for the nation is there, but his (Bumrah's) body has given up," Kaif stated.
