After successfully hosting the first Women's Under-19 World Cup, the focus will now shift to the inaugural edition of the Emerging Women's Asia Cup 2023. On June 12, Hong Kong will host the start of the Continental Cup and eight teams will compete.
However, it is to be noted that the teams with full-member nations will be represented by their Under-23 or A squads, while countries like Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will have players that play for their senior teams.
