Indian's situation in the fourth test of the Anderson vs Tendulkar Test in the Manchester series worsened as they lost Ravindra Jadeja's wicket early on Day 2. The Men in Blue have already lost their star batter, Rishabh Pant, who has been ruled out of this test after sustaining a serious foot injury on the first day.

India were 264/4 overnight with Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur at the crease. However, after the news of Pant sustaining the fracture on his right foot, they started with a batter less.

But, after back-to-back four-test fifties, all the hopes were on Jadeja's shoulders to take India's first-innings score to near 400, which would be good enough to put some pressure on the hosts. However, that was not the case as Jofra Archer made this tougher for India.
Archer, who had not picked a wicket on Day 1, started the second day with great lines and length. Although he was not bowling at his fastest, he was accurate on and around off-stump. He finally got the reward for the fantastic work he did throughout the first half hour of the day when he produced an edge of Ravindra Jadeja's bat, and it went straight to the second slip.
Archer, from over the wicket to Jadeja, angled the ball away from middle and leg stump. It was around the fifth stump, and the length made Jadeja play at it as well. The edge carried to the second slip comfortably, where Harry Brook took an easy catch to dismiss the Indian all-rounder on 20 from 40.
India are now five down for 285. But if you consider Rishabh Pant, India are practically six down.
