India will face England in the fifth and final test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Series at the Oval from 31st July to 4th August 2025. With the series being 2-1 in favour of England, this would be a must-win match for India if they wish to draw the series.

Although the fourth test match in Manchester, which was a nail-biter and Indian batters batted 143 overs in the fourth innings to save the test match, the weather did not play that much of a role. Though the overcast conditions from time to time created a bowling-friendly atmosphere and the sun made it easier to bat, there was hardly any rain during the game.
But, there is pretty chance of rain during the Day 1 of the ENG vs IND, 5th test at Oval in London. As per weather.com, there is a 95% chance of rain on Day 1, with cloudy skies and high humidity throughout the day. There is a chance of afternoon showers, which could halt the game in between on Day 1. Moreover, there is a storm alert as well on 31st July.

However, the weather is supposed to get better on Day 2 and Day 3 of the test match with only 17% and 4% chance of rain respectively. But, the weather would be cold for the Indian players with the temperature ranging from 13 degree celcius to 21 degree celcius. On Day 4, there is again a slight chance of rain, with the final day of the test match supposed to have cloudy weather all day.
