The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, naming Harry Brook as the skipper. Most of the players remain same but Liam Livingstone, Jamie Smith, and Mark Wood failed to find a place in the team.

In the previous edition of the World Cup 2024, England qualified for the semi-final but were defeated by India in the knockouts. Their performance was powerful as the players contributed in almost all the matches. This time too, they have a great team on paper, and have a good chance of qualifying for the Super 8 stage.

England squad: Harry Brook (C), Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Tom Banton, Jacob Bethell, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Josh Tongue, Luke Wood
